I havent built this kit, but from what i know, most LOC kits only come with the elastic shock cord set up. Dont use that stuff. Get an eyebolt that goes through the forward CR on the motor tube. Then use 9/16 Tubular Nylon for your shock cord. I usually use 4-5x's the length of the rocket for my shock cord. Be sure to put an eyebolt in the nose cone too. Dont use the pre molded tab that is on the bottom of the nose, it will break. You can cut the very bottom of the nose cone off and then cut a hole in the shoulder of the nose and use that as an access spot to tighten the eyebolt on the inside of the cone.

Thanks Gabe for the advise-sounds like a winner-I was not confidant with the loc system-that may be why they are offering some of there kit now as a bare bones kits-no chute no shock cord and no hardware-thank you agan for taking the time to answer my queaston. smile
